We are glad to announce that the Automatic Cross-Selling add-on for CS-Cart v 4 editions was updated.

Revamped the linking by product name and search words, linking by tags or manually left intact. Now the linking is searching in all of the words in product names or search words. Added the ability to define the minimum number of matches and if there are equal or more matches will return the products as related. By increasing or decreasing the number of matches can be refined the returned results, receiving more relevant products.
Moved the blocks settings to block level. This allows to have multiple blocks with different settings and content.
New feature: added the ability to link bi-directional Pages to products, if you are publishing e.g. blog articles the assigned products will be listed in a block on the article page and the article short list on the product details page. So that when a store visitor read the content of a certain page, he or she is offered items related to the page content. Also if a page is linked to a product, visitors can read the related article for useful additional information.
Solved the page load issues, by using cached content in blocks.
Prepared for compatibility with the upcoming CS-Cart v4.2.x editions.
